The powerCON TRUE1 TOP is a locking 16 A true mains connector for outdoor applications. It replaces appliance couplers wherever a very rugged solution in combination with a locking device is needed in order to guarantee a safe power connection.

The powerCON TRUE1 TOP is a connector with breaking capacity (CBC), i.e. it can be connected or disconnected under load or live.

WHEN EXACTLY SHOULD PAT TESTING BE CARRIED OUT?

The frequency of PAT testing will be defined by your own risk assessment and Health & Safety policy.  As a general rule, we recommend testing all items annually as a minimum.

WHY PAT TEST?

The key purpose of PAT Testing is to help protect you and others;  PAT testing will prevent (or at least reduce) the risk of injury (or even fatality) and/or fire damage caused by damaged/worn/misused portable electrical appliances. PAT testing is one of the most effective ways of helping you to ensure you meet your legal obligations and responsibilities!
