DL7115 Infrared Thermometer

Professional 20:1 Non Contact Infrared Thermometer with Ring Laser and Temperature Measurement up to 1100°C

The Di-LOG DL7115 Infrared Thermometer is a professional, high temperature non contact thermometer designed for fast and accurate surface temperature measurement across electrical, HVAC, automotive, maintenance and industrial applications.

With an impressive -32°C to 1100°C measurement range and 20:1 distance to spot ratio, the DL7115 allows engineers to safely measure high, low or difficult to reach surface temperatures from a distance.

A highly visible ring laser targeting system helps identify the measurement area, while the colour EBTN display provides clear indication of temperature readings and measurement functions. Adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00 helps improve measurement accuracy across different surface materials, with the ability to store five preset emissivity values for frequently tested surfaces.

For applications requiring ongoing monitoring, the DL7115 provides 99 measurement memory locations as well as scheduled temperature measurement with selectable intervals from 1 minute up to 4 days.

Accurate Non Contact Temperature Measurement

The DL7115 uses infrared technology to measure surface temperature without requiring physical contact with the object being tested.

Its 20:1 distance to spot ratio makes it particularly useful where the target is hot, moving, difficult to access or where maintaining a safe working distance is desirable.

For example, at a distance of approximately 1 metre, the nominal measurement spot is approximately 50 mm in diameter.

The fast response time of 250 ms or less also makes the DL7115 ideal for quickly checking multiple components or identifying temperature differences across equipment and installations.

Adjustable Emissivity

Different materials emit infrared energy differently, which can affect the accuracy of an infrared thermometer.

The DL7115 provides adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00, allowing the instrument to be configured more appropriately for the surface being measured.

Up to five preset emissivity values can be stored, making it quicker to move between frequently measured materials and applications.

High and Low Temperature Alarms

User selectable high and low temperature alarm functions make it easier to identify measurements outside an expected temperature range.

When the selected limit is exceeded, the DL7115 can provide both LED and audible alarm indication, helping engineers quickly identify abnormal temperatures during inspection and preventative maintenance.

99 Measurement Memory and Scheduled Measurement

For applications where temperatures need to be recorded rather than simply checked, the DL7115 can store up to 99 sets of measurement data.

Scheduled measurement can also be configured at intervals ranging from 1 minute to 4 days, with up to 99 scheduled measurements available.

This makes the DL7115 particularly useful for monitoring temperature changes over time without requiring the user to manually take every measurement.

Typical Applications

The DL7115 is suitable for a wide range of professional temperature measurement applications, including:

  • Electrical maintenance and inspection
  • HVAC and heating systems
  • Motors and rotating machinery
  • Automotive diagnostics
  • Building maintenance
  • Industrial equipment
  • Plant and machinery inspection
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Heating and cooling equipment
  • Process temperature checks
  • Identifying abnormal surface temperatures

Important: An infrared thermometer measures surface temperature. It does not measure internal or core temperature.
