Sonel EVSE-100

Multifunctional analyzer for electric vehicle charging stations

The EVSE-100 multifunctional analyzer is a versatile tool for diagnosing EV charging stations and cables. It simulates CP and PP circuits to test various operating states, verify control system performance, and ensure electric shock protection. It can detect faults on both the charging station and vehicle sides and supports diagnostics of AC and portable Type 2 charging stations (single and three-phase), as well as charging cables, with results compiled into a professional report.

Sonel EVSE-100 capabilities:

  • EVSE-100 is a multifunctional analyzer for diagnosing EV charging stations and cables.

  • Performs a full set of tests with a single device, generating a professional report.

  • Simulates CP and PP circuits to put stations into various operating states.

  • Verifies the correctness of the control system and measures electric shock protection.

  • Completes functionality and safety checks by simulating faults on both the charging station (ICCB) and vehicle (CP circuit) sides.

Sonel EVSE-100 features:

  • PP Cable Simulation: open circuit, 13 A, 20 A, 32 A, 63 A, 80 A

  • CP Communication Simulation: State A – vehicle not connected; State B – connected, not charging; State C – charging without ventilation; State D – charging with ventilation

  • Safety Measurements: short-circuit loop (Z), RCD parameters (AC, A, B, 6 mA DC), insulation resistance (RISO), continuity (RCONT), phase sequence, coding resistor (RC), grounding (RE)

  • EVSE Diagnostics: CP+/CP- voltage, PWM frequency (f) and duty cycle (D), maximum current (IMAX), CP+/CP-/f/D/IMAX graphs, t_off and t_on times

  • EVSE Error Simulation (ICCB/EVCS): CP short to PE (CPsh), diode short (Dsh), PE interruption (PEop)

  • Power Supply Fault Simulation (ICCB): interruptions in L1, L2, L3, N, PE; L↔PE swap; voltage on PE (UEXT)

  • State Transition Analysis: measurement of transition times between operational states
